The combination of two actives (77% ethanol and 0.5% chlorhexidine gluconate) provides rapid-acting and residual antimicrobial activities against a wide range of microorganisms. Its blend of emollient and moisturiser helps to prevent skin dryness after application. It was tested and meets the European Efficacy specifications (EN 13727), possesses bactericidal activity in 15 seconds against P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, MRSA and E. hirae.
